SARBODAYA Development for Campaign Nepal (Sarbodaya Nepal) Jumla is a women-led, nonpartisan, Non-profit, independent non-government organization (NGO). The organization is legally compliant with the District Administration Office in Jumla under the Non-Government Organization Registration Act, 2034 (Government of Nepal) recognized by the Social Welfare Council, Nepal, and founded in 2006 by a group of academics and professionals. Sarbodaya Nepal Jumla was formally registered with a dedicated to promoting women's empowerment through gender equality and social inclusion, resilient livelihood and food security, peace, and rights, in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces of Nepal. The organization has been mainstreaming a rights-based approach to enhance social justice, gender equality, and good governance, through a participatory process. Sarbodaya Nepal Jumla has successfully carried out the developmental projects required in the Karnali region Karnali Region Development Projects; These areas range from Jumla (Patarasi, Tila, Tatopani, Gothichaur Rural Municipalities), Achham, Kalikot, and Dailekh districts. At the moment the organization operates through its programs in the emphasis areas such as women's, girls, and child-oppressed groups, reproductive health justice, education, civil livelihoods, food and nutrition, governance, and community development. It has also fostered networks with local, national, and international levels bodies which have improved.
