represents more than a capacity-building initiative—it is a transformative approach to partnership that centers feminist principles of solidarity, collective empowerment, and systemic change. By prioritizing collaborative learning, mutual respect, and inclusive knowledge sharing, the initiative challenges traditional hierarchical models of organizational development.
Objective
The primary objectives of the training are to:
Strengthen participants’ understanding of UN Women’s and Sarbodaya Nepal strategic priorities, Hamro Sahas Programme and their alignment with RPs’ interventions by valuing lived experiences and contextual knowledge alongside technical skills
Enhance RBM capacities, including planning, monitoring, and narrative reporting by creating spaces for horizontal learning where participants are both educators and learners
Improve knowledge on communications, branding, and visibility in alignment with GBV Un Women standards and guidelines.
Enhance cooperation, collaboration and bonding among the participants by promoting their diverse experiences and identities
Key activities your organization will carry out:
960 hh will enhance capacity for social norms: (chhauapdi reduction, advocacy, and reducing GBV, strengthening organization capacity, and institutionalizing the advocacy of GBV.
Intended target groups/communities:
Women and girls of a marginalized community, focusing on 32 women's groups, 960 HH, 10 wards, 5 rural municipalities of Jumla district.
Geographic focus: Kanasundari, Sinja, Hima, Patarasi, Guthichaur RM of Jumla.
